The City of Eternal Flames, the City of Winds

Museum-lovers will get to explore Gobustan State Reserve and Heydar Aliyev Center. Baku Old City and Wine Tours & Tastings are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Step out of Baku to go to Gobustan and see Mud Volcanoes, which is approximately 1h 25 min away. There's lots more to do: make a trip to Flame Towers, relax and rejuvenate at Knockout Boxing Club, tee off at Dreamland Golf Club, and explore the ancient world of Ateshgah Fire Temple.

Dammam, Saudi Arabia to Baku is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone difference moving from Arabian Standard Time (AST) to Azerbaijan Standard Time (AZT) is 1 hour. Plan for colder temperatures traveling from Dammam in April, with highs in Baku at 19°C and lows at 9°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 21st (Fri) early enough to catch the flight back home.

With its dual Eurasian character, Azerbaijan remains a highly intriguing destination, with tourism one of the top contributors to the country's booming economy.
