8 days in Bled & Radovljica Itinerary

On the 22nd (Sat), take in the dramatic scenery at Savica Waterfall, explore the activities along Lake Bohinj, then step into the grandiose world of Bled Castle, and finally glide through the air with a parasailing or paragliding tour. Here are some ideas for day two: explore the striking landscape at Vintgar Gorge, then step off the mainland to explore Bled Island, and then get outside with Outdoor Activities.

If you are flying in from Italy, the closest major aiport is Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport. July in Bled sees daily highs of 32°C and lows of 17°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Radovljica.

Change things up with these side-trips from Radovljica: Škofja Loka (Capuchin Bridge, Mount Blegoš, &more), Nesk's Footbridge (in Gorenja Vas) and Franja Partisan Hospital (in Cerkno).
