Kick off your visit on the 24th (Mon): take in the spiritual surroundings of Congregation Mickve Israel and then wander the streets of Savannah Historic District. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 25th (Tue): examine the collection at National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force, walk around Forsyth Park, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, and finally enjoy the sea views from Tybee Island Light Station And Museum.

You can take a train from Charleston to Savannah in 2.5 hours. Another option is to drive. In July, daytime highs in Savannah are 91°F, while nighttime lows are 74°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 26th (Wed) to allow time to drive to St. Augustine.

St. Augustine — 3 nights

Museum-lovers will get to explore St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum, Inc. and St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum. Get a sense of the local culture at The Old Senator Tree and First Colony. Step out of St. Augustine to go to Daytona Beach and see Angell & Phelps Chocolate Factory, which is approximately 1h 10 min away.
