Though Ayia Napa boasts archaeological sites and the largest water park in Europe, the city is best known as a party hub.
Take a break from the city and head to Ayia Napa Harbour and Scuba & Snorkeling. Visit Salamis Ancient City and St Barnabas Monastery and Icon Museum for their historical value. Get out of town with these interesting Ayia Napa side-trips: Famagusta (Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque & Famagusta City Walls). There's much more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Landa Beach, take some stellar pictures from Cape Greco View Point, and take in the pleasant sights at Cape Greco National Forest Park.
