The legendary birthplace of the Greek goddess Aphrodite and the capital of western Cyprus, the city of Paphos showcases an abundance of archaeological, architectural, and historical sites.Get outdoors at Aphrodite Trail and Akamas Peninsula National Park. Step off the beaten path and head to Panagia Chrysopolitissa Church and Room Escape Games. There's still lots to do: delve into the distant past at Tombs of the Kings, explore the historical opulence of Paphos Harbour Castle, tee off at Marios Golf Park, and pause for some serene contemplation at Agia Paraskevi Church.

The second largest city in Cyprus, Limassol attracts locals and tourists alike with its sun and sea.Start off your visit on the 3rd (Wed): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Agia Napa Cathedral. On the next day, take in the waterfront at Promenade, take in the waterfront activity at Limassol Marina, admire the striking features of Carob Mill Museum, learn about winemaking at Lambouri Winery, then contemplate the long history of Lania Village, and finally do a tasting at Antoniades Winery.

You can drive from Paphos to Limassol City in an hour. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In May, plan for daily highs up to 30°C, and evening lows to 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Larnaca.
