Mile-High City

Aptly nicknamed the "Mile-High City," Denver sits at an altitude of 1,600 m (5,280 ft) above sea level, located right where the Great Plains give way to the Rocky Mountains.

Surrounded by mountain ranges, forests, valleys, beaches, and deserts, the metropolitan area of Los Angeles is home to over 17 million people.
Step out of Los Angeles to go to Anaheim and see Disneyland Park, which is approximately 36 minutes away. Pack the 22nd (Wed) with family-friendly diversions at Universal Studios Hollywood. There's much more to do: see the sky in a new way at Griffith Observatory, admire the landmark architecture of Walt Disney Concert Hall, take in the waterfront at Santa Monica Pier, and engage your brain at California Science Center.
