On India's western coastline, the former Portuguese colony of Goa tells a visibly different story than the rest of India.Kids will appreciate attractions like Baga Beach and Calangute Beach. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Vagator Beach, stroll through Colva Beach, take in the spiritual surroundings of Basilica of Bom Jesus, and stop by Diamoro Jewellers and Gold Smiths.

Pune to Goa is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. In July in Goa, expect temperatures between 35°C during the day and 30°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 15th (Fri) so you can fly back home.
