You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Arco Triunfal de la Calzada de los Heroes and Catedral Basilica De Nuestra Madre Santisima De La Luz. Change things up with these side-trips from Guanajuato: Parque Bicentenario Guanajuato (in Silao) and Museo de Arte e Historia de Guanajuato (in Leon). There's still lots to do: admire the striking features of University of Guanajuato, see the interesting displays at Museo de las Momias de Guanajuato, stop by Gorky Pottery by Gorky Gonzalez, and make a trip to Jardin de la Union.
