One of the most cosmopolitan, innovative, and prosperous cities in the country, Leeds went from a run-down mill town to a hip 21st-century urban center in just a few decades.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Sun): take an in-depth tour of National Railway Museum, test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms, and then go for a walk through York City Walls. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 17th (Mon): wander the streets of York Shambles, then admire the striking features of York Minster, then steep yourself in history at Treasurer's House, and finally see the interesting displays at Jorvik Viking Centre.
