Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Take a break from Las Vegas with a short trip to Hoover Dam in Boulder City, about 50 minutes away. There's much more to do: take in breathtaking views at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, take in panoramic vistas at Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck, make a trip to Fountains of Bellagio, and shop like a local with The Strip.
