Zagreb, Croatia to Rome is an approximately 6.5-hour combination of shuttle and flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Traveling from Zagreb in June, expect Rome to be somewhat warmer, temps between 34°C and 21°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 8th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Amalfi.

Prepare for a bit cooler weather when traveling from Milan in June: high temperatures in Zagreb hover around 30°C and lows are around 15°C. Explore the coastline's towns, bays, and resorts. During the peak tourist season, the Amalfi Coast's single seaside road is often jammed with dozens of buses. For that reason, the ubiquitous scooter may be the best way to get around and sightsee. You can also access quite a bit by bicycle.
