Kick off your visit on the 4th (Sat): identify plant and animal life at Fish Point Nature Reserve, identify plant and animal life at Stone Road Alvar Nature Reserve, then do a tasting at Pelee Island Pavilion, and finally look for all kinds of wild species at Lighthouse Point Provincial Nature Reserve.

Kingsville — 3 nights

You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Hillman Marsh Conservation Area and Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary. Visiting Colchester Beach and Cedar Beach Conservation Area will get you outdoors. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Kingsville: Ruscom Shores Conservation Area (in Lakeshore), Big O Conservation Area (in Comber) and Amherstburg Freedom Museum (in Amherstburg).

You can drive from Pelee Island to Kingsville in 2 hours. In March, plan for daily highs up to 4°C, and evening lows to -3°C. You will have some time to spend on the 8th (Wed) before leaving for Windsor.

Windsor — 3 nights

Sandwich First Baptist Church and Bois Blanc Island Lighthouse & Blockhouse will appeal to history buffs. Escape the urban bustle at Devonwood Conservation Area and Ambassador Golf Club. Step out of Windsor to go to Amherstburg and see Park House Museum, which is approximately 30 minutes away. There's still lots to do: stop by Via Italia, view the masterpieces at Walkerville Artist Co-op, don't miss a visit to Pelee Passage Lighthouse, and trek along McAuliffe Woods Conservation Area.

Traveling by car from Kingsville to Windsor takes an hour. Alternatively, you can drive. In March, daily temperatures in Windsor can reach 5°C, while at night they dip to -4°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
