A resort town on the country's scenic Adriatic coastline, Portoroz offers many spas with all kinds of therapeutic treatments, many based on the brine and mud from the area's salt pans.
On the 3rd (Sat), kick back and relax at Portorož Beach, then make a trip to Tartini Square, then examine the collection at Magical World of Shells Museum, and finally take a leisurely stroll along Port Piran.

The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Start off your visit on the 5th (Mon): explore the historical opulence of Bled Castle, admire the striking features of Bled Island, and then take some stellar pictures from Mala Osojnica. Keep things going the next day: take in the dramatic scenery at Savica Waterfall, contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Bohinj, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Vogel, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Church of St John the Baptist.
