8 days in Tbilisi & Gori Itinerary

Narikala Fortress and Old Town (Altstadt) Tbilisi will appeal to history buffs. If you are flying in from Mexico, the closest major aiport is Tbilisi International Airport. Expect a daytime high around 20°C in April, and nighttime lows around 8°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 12th (Fri) early enough to go by car to Gori.

On the 13th (Sat), explore the ancient world of Gori Castle, delve into the distant past at Atenskiy Zion, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Kintsvisi Monastery, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Tsromi Cathedral.
