8 days in Telluride Itinerary

The town of Telluride is the county seat and most populous town of San Miguel County in the southwestern portion of the U.S. state of Colorado. Bring the kids along to Off-Road Tours and Bear Creek Falls. Venture out of the city with trips to Ouray (Perimeter Trail, Ouray Hot Springs Pool, &more), Museum of the Mountain West (in Montrose) and Ridgway (Ridgway Visitors Center and Railroad Museum & Ridgway State Park). Richmond to Telluride is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train, bus, and taxi. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 2 hours traveling from Richmond to Telluride. In January, Telluride is a bit cooler than Richmond - with highs of 35°F and lows of 18°F.
