Bucharest to Brasov is an approximately 3-hour car ride. You can also take a train; or take a bus. Cap off your sightseeing on the 16th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Sighisoara.

Drive from Sighisoara to Targu Mures in an hour. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In February, daily temperatures in Targu Mures can reach 7°C, while at night they dip to -3°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Sibiu.

On the 20th (Mon), make a trip to Telescaun Paltinis, steep yourself in history at Turnul Sfatului (The Tower of the Council), then delve into the distant past at Turnul Pielarilor, and finally take in panoramic vistas at Harquebusiers Tower.
