Hanoi to Hue is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. In April in Hue, expect temperatures between 37°C during the day and 26°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 5th (Wed) to allow time for the car ride to Quang Tri.

You can drive from Hue to Quang Tri in 2 hours. You will leave for Dong Hoi on the 7th (Fri).

Take a break from the city and head to Phong Nha Caves and Bai Da Nhay (Jumping rock beach). Discover out-of-the-way places like Tien Son Cave and Tam Toa Church.
