Traveling by car from Reykjavik to Vik takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Reykjavik in December, Vik is a bit warmer at night with lows of 1°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 21st (Wed) so you can drive to Svinafell.

Start off your visit on the 22nd (Thu): explore the activities along Fjallsarlon Iceberg Lagoon, then contemplate the waterfront views at Glacier Lagoon, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Fellsfjara.
