If you are flying in from Singapore, the closest major aiport is Singapore Changi Airport. In February, daytime highs in Singapore are 36°C, while nighttime lows are 29°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Tue) to allow enough time to fly to Taipei.

You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Yangmingshan National Park and MyTaiwanTour Travel Services. Visiting YehLiu Geopark and Beitou Thermal Valley(Hell Valley) will get you outdoors. Take a break from Taipei with a short trip to Jiaosi Hot Spring in Jiaoxi, about 46 minutes away. There's more to do: look for gifts at Dihua Street and take an in-depth tour of National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine.

Traveling by flight from Singapore to Taipei takes 8 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and ferry. Prepare for much colder weather when traveling from Singapore in February: high temperatures in Taipei hover around 23°C and lows are around 16°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Xincheng.

Start off your visit on the 11th (Sat): kick back and relax at Chishingtan Scenic Area.

Getting from Taipei to Xincheng by flight takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: drive; or take a train; or do a combination of bus and train. Traveling from Taipei in February, Xincheng is a bit warmer at night with lows of 20°C. On the 11th (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
